Beaches HYP’s board is growing!

We are pleased to announce the addition of Jenn Schwenn to the Beaches Habitat Young Professionals Board of Directors. Jenn is serving as the Special Events Chair and is excited to help spread awareness about affordable housing through Beaches HYP’s build days and events.

Originally from Madison, WI, Jenn traded in snow boots for flip-flops when she moved to Jacksonville to attend the University of North Florida. She did not, however, trade in her love of Wisconsin sports. She’s a proud fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Bucks. You can take the girl out of Packer Nation, but you can’t take Packer Nation out of the girl!

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Jenn made a home in Jacksonville. Now working as a Project Administrator in Professional Affairs at Johnson and Johnson Vision, she also owns and operates an LLC as a licensed hairstylist. 

In her free time, you might find Jenn at Brewhoud in Neptune Beach with an iced coffee and Cruz, her Black Labrador. You might also find Jenn at Mellow Mushroom for Beaches HYP’s monthly trivia night or swinging a hammer alongside other HYP members on a Beaches Habitat construction project.
