Court-Ordered Community Service
Beaches Habitat allows some volunteers to complete court-required community service to complete their hours on our construction site. Prior approval is required or will not be able to provide you with documentation of hours completed.
Beaches Habitat will not accept volunteers whose offense involves violence or theft or is considered a sexual offense. These offenses include but are not limited to:
- petite theft
- robbery
- larceny
- soliciting a prostitute
- assault
- battery
To be approved for court-ordered service, you must:
- Complete our community service agreement
- Submit a copy of your court paperwork that includes your charges and the hours required to volunteer@beacheshabitat.org.
Important note: Please allow up to three (3) business days to receive approval of your service. Beaches Habitat for Humanity does not accept all court-ordered offenses and reserves the right to decline court-ordered community service volunteers.
